Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Transfer Credit Specialist for a reputable University, to evaluate and process transfer credits efficiently.
This role involves evaluating course equivalencies, maintaining a transfer equivalency system, and acting as a liaison between various departments.
Position is Hybrid : 3 days in office, 2 days from Home.
Only local candidates will be considered.
Essential Duties :
- Evaluate and document course equivalencies for transfer credit requests.
- Research institutions to ensure acceptable accreditation and curriculum equivalency.
- Process transfer credit requests according to established policies, ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain effective communication with students and various departments.
- Manage digital records of transcripts and transfer credit decisions in the Student Information System.
- Evaluate CLEP, AP, International, and Military credits as per policies.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards (FERPA) and all university policies.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with student information systems.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with diverse groups.
